Content Restrictions

Alchemical does not welcome the following content. Submissions containing such content will not be considered.

1. Misleading or false claims of authorship, plagiarism of any sort, which includes using AI-generated content

2. The promotion of hate speech or bigotry

3. Gratuitous or graphic violence

4. Gratuitous or exploitative sexual content

5. Threatening or targeted abuse of real individuals or groups

Works may address difficult, disturbing, or controversial subjects—including violence, discrimination, trauma, sexuality, religion, death, human rights, and political or social conflict—when those subjects serve a genuine literary or artistic purpose. The presence of a difficult subject as such does not, by itself, constitute a violation of our guidelines.
